Internship

Technical Intern

We are looking for a Technical Intern to support our team across technology, research and operations. You will work on live projects from your first week, learn how a consulting firm delivers for its clients, and grow your technical and business skills with real responsibility.

About Strat Edge

Strat Edge Solutions is a South African professional services firm, founded in 2019. We help organisations with business consulting, compliance and accreditation, infrastructure, AI and digitisation, and coaching and change management. Our platform, Strat Edge Intelligence, brings our tools and client work together in one place.

What you will do

  • Support the day-to-day running and testing of Strat Edge Intelligence and our other digital tools.
  • Research technologies, suppliers and industry requirements, and turn your findings into clear, short reports.
  • Keep project records, data and documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare figures and updates for team meetings and project reviews.
  • Help with client projects as they come up, including site visits when needed.
  • Find problems early, record them clearly, and follow them through until they are fixed.

What you bring

  • A qualification in progress or recently completed in IT, computer science, information systems, engineering or business.
  • Comfort with computers, web applications and spreadsheets, and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
  • Clear written and spoken communication in English.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and the discipline to finish what you start.
  • Reliability: you respond promptly and keep good notes.

Good to have

  • Some experience with Microsoft 365, data analysis, basic scripting or no-code tools.
  • An interest in AI, digital transformation or how businesses run.
